Hot Modern Glam - A Transitional Restoration

THIS WAS A BIG ONE!

I even did the primary bathroom renovation, well picked up where someone left off, but didn’t take photos, so I won’t mention it again.

This project was important for my client because they had recently gone through a major life transition, moved to a new city, and had been dealing with a contractor who unfortunately didn’t hold up their end of the bargain. When I arrived for the consultation and saw the space, I knew I had to help. I made up in my mind right then and there that if we could make it work in the space for this client, it was going to be done.

This project was important for me because it really helped me expand my creativity. It also helped me gain an affinity toward warmer colors. Before this, I used blues and greens as accents. If I can be honest, they’re still my preference lol, but I’m much more open to incorporating reds (the right kind that is) and other warmer hues into my projects. It was important for my client to have warmer colors since they deal with migraines often and need to be in a low light setting and since they would have to live in the space, I did as requested. As you look through the pictures take note of the colors, but more importantly take note of the tones of these colors.

This post will serve as a teaser since this is much too large a project for me to lump into one blog. I’ll share some after photos here, and then break down each space in separate blogs where I’ll show you before and after photos. This will also allow me to go in greater detail about each space. The transformation of this home is quite a beautiful one, so let’s get into it with the pics shall we.
