What Happened this Month at BLI - September Edition
Hello!!
Thanks for stopping by the blog again. I’m working on being consistent with it this time around and have decided to format a schedule of what will be going out each week. A new blog post will be uploaded every Tuesday and if you want to receive a notification, be sure to subscribe.
This month at Brittany Lyons Interiors (BLI), we worked on a few projects, our renovation project near the Katy Trail, the flip property in Ft. Worth, exterior painting for a repeat client in Kessler Park, and landed two new clients! I even have a few photos to show of some of the projects, you can check them out below.
In this beautiful home, we renovated the second level where all of the common spaces were located. Common spaces, in this project, are the kitchen, living room, lounge area near fire place, dining room and a new edition, the dry bar. I had the opportunity to curate a beautiful design for this client. Here is a teaser, but once it’s complete, you know it will be up on the blog with it’s own post!
One of the best compliments to me and my business is being hired, again, by a client. In this project we completed for one of my favorite Kessler Park residents, we were brought in again for a painting project, this time the full exterior. This home has an unattached garage, a wooden privacy fence, and a brick walled privacy patio in addition to the main exterior walls, doors and trim. My clients wanted the popular black and white look, I gave them a few options, and they selected which colors they liked best. It really looks completely different, and now has so much more curb appeal!
While my firm is an interior design firm, I do have the capacity to accept full interior or full exterior painting projects. My crew and I have been working together for several years, so they know how I like things done. If you are interested in having your full home painted, I would love to work with you. I even offer painting consultations where I bring the color selections to you! If you’re interested, you can click here to schedule your free discovery call to discuss.
I was also glad to accept two new projects this month! One is a private residence where we are tackling a living room and dining room. The other is a clubhouse in Cedar Hill that I can’t wait to breathe new life into. I hope to have updates about these two in next month’s edition of What’s Going on at BLI.
Recently, I’ve been inspired by earth tones AND the combination of warm (reds and oranges) and cool (blues and greens) hues. I feel like all of my projects have combined warm and cool tones together for a beautiful cohesive design. I’m not sure that the inspiration will lift anytime soon. Nature has also been a big source of inspiration as I’ve been getting out in it more. What has been inspiring you and your work?
Rounding up the blog is a special product highlight! My restore candle is on sale for the first time, but there is a limited supply. You can click here to purchase. I love the way this candle smells (citrus notes in coconut wax) and invokes a sense of calm and peace in whatever room I bring it into. I created this candle because I want you to be able to have that feeling too.
If you’d like to follow me over on social, all of my info is below. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I’ll catch you again in the next post!
xoxo,
Brittany
